Google will give money to publishers in lieu of news

Google has announced a new licensing program under which news publishers will be paid in lieu of news. Currently, the program has been launched in Australia, Brazil, and Germany. Under this, Google will give money to publishers in exchange for high-quality content.

Under this program, news publishers are going to benefit greatly because currently, 80 percent of their dependence on earning is on Google advertising, but under this program, publishers will be able to earn more while people will also get original content.

Google has announced this program, saying that soon publishers from all over the world will be part of this program. News publishers are associated with Google News from dozens of countries. Under this program, Google will pay for audio, video, photo, and story. This content will be available only on the Google mobile app.
