If you have been using Facebook for a long time, then you may not have read many of the messages in its hidden inbox yet. This is because this inbox cannot be easily accessed in Facebook Messenger and only messages from friends are visible in front. These messages are of users who are not included in your friend’s list on Facebook.
Messages sent on behalf of users who are not included in your friend’s list, go in the message requests. For some reason, Mark Zuckerberg’s social media platform does not send notifications to the user when such a message arrives.
Apart from this, such messages also do not appear in the default inbox. Instead, messages coming from unknown users go into the special ‘message request’ folder. For this, you have to open the Messenger app in the phone.
This is how you will get another inbox
After opening the Messenger app, you have to select the People option in it. In it, a small speech bubble icon will appear in the top section, on which three dots will appear. This is your message request folder. After tapping on it, you will see a lot of messages, which have been sent by users that you have not added to the friend’s list.
If you do not know anything about the user, then Facebook also shows the information related to it under the name here.
