Facebook-owned social media app WhatsApp has finally released Dark Theme for WhatsApp web and desktop apps. Earlier this feature was limited to mobile apps only. We tell you how to enable dark themes on WhatsApp Web.
To enable the dark mode feature that uses WhatsApp on the web or desktop, first you need to update WhatsApp from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Verification will have to be done through QR code. After this, you can start the Dark Mode feature by going to Settings and selecting the theme option.
Apart from this, the company has also started the QR Code feature for chatting. QR code will also be available in the app to make chatting easier for users so that users will be able to add new contacts easily. All they have to do is scan the QR code of the other user and the contact will be added to their WhatsApp.
Not only this, WhatsApp group is also improving video calls. For group video calls, users have to tap single. After this, video calls can be done with 8 or more people. Currently, up to eight people can be added to WhatsApp’s video calling.
According to the company, some of these new features will be rolled out in a stable update in the next few weeks. Users will soon be able to see animated stickers in the latest version of WhatsApp. As the name suggests, these animated stickers will act like moving GIF / Video.
