Google partners with Prasar Bharti to launch India-based global payment product

Google today (Monday) hosted the sixth edition of the Google for India 2020 event in India. In it, the company shared many upcoming products and success stories.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of the company, said that India has become a global standard in payment digitization. The company will launch India based global payment products. The company has teamed up with BHIP UPI to facilitate digital payments in the country.

Sundar Pichai said that the ‘Speak’ app was launched in India only last year. It is now known globally as ‘Read-Along’. Which is available in 180 countries and 9 languages.

Partnership with Prasar Bharti

Google has also announced an upcoming plan for the event. The company has partnered with Prasar Bharti to digitize the small and midsize business. The company will soon launch the Ajutainment (Education + Entertainment) series. It will be broadcast on television. The company has given its information by tweeting.

Google Pay became popular

According to figures released by the company, every month 2 million users in India search for Near Buy Stores for necessities of life. Now 3 million merchants are doing contactless trading through Google Pay.

Tech giant Google has also announced an investment of Rs 75,000 crore in India.
