Apple told its suppliers that by the end of this year, Apple will make at least 75 million 5G iPhones with new models of watches, new iPad Air, and smaller home pods. The company hopes that shipments of the next-generation iPhones will reach 80 million units by 2020.
Next month Apple aims to launch four new iPhones equipped with 5G wireless speeds, with different designs and larger screen sizes. Media company Bloomberg said in a report that the low-end phones are expected to be shipped soon compared to the pro-design ones.
According to the report, Apple is working on creating a new iPad Air with a screen similar to the iPad Pro. Also making two new Apple Watch variants and the first over-ear headphones.
According to Bloomberg, Apple is also building a new Apple TV box with a faster processor for better gaming and an upgraded remote control. However, it will not be shipped until next year. The company has not officially commented on the matter.
